When it comes to dark money, sunlight is the best disinfectant. You should be able to know what money candidates are accepting, so you can have the full picture when you get to the ballot box. 

Under our system:

  • Candidates are required to tell us where they got their money.
  • Donors and recipients must tell the public within 24 hours if they receive $2k or more.
  • Any group that gets more than 50% of its funding from out of state must disclose it in ALL communications.

We require candidates to tell us where they got their money, and update us within 24 hours when large donations come in. If you get your money from out of state, you have to say it in every communication. Information is power.
